2. Follow that with a cup of distilled white vinegar but, to give it an added boost of power, first heat it up in your microwave oven. There’s a dual benefit to taking this step as the steam from the vinegar will help clean the inside of your microwave.
3. Pour the heated vinegar down the drain. Once combined with the baking soda, it will bubble immediately, thus signaling that the battle against the drain blockage is now fully engaged.
4. Let that mixture sit for at least five minutes so the solution can achieve maximum results.
5. When time is up, turn on your faucet tap to flush the drain using warm water. Let the water flow for 30 – 60 seconds.
Will this procedure guarantee that you’ll never encounter another clogged drain problem (by the way, the same process works well with toilets)? No, but it will help prevent numerous such problem, and isn’t that reason enough to put this method into practice?
